Berkeley Christian Counselors began in 1977 in response to a growing need in the church and local community for quality Christian counseling. What started as a Christian Lay Counseling service has now become a professional counseling center and training institute for clinicians.

Berkeley Christian Counselors is committed to offering Associates and Trainees the opportunity to gain professional training and supervision in a distinctively Christian context. For decades, our agency has provided training to counselors and therapists, most of whom are now fully licensed marriage and family therapists, clinical social workers and clinical psychologists. Registered Associates who have a qualifying Master’s Degree and Trainees enrolled in a practicum course while completing their Master’s Degree are welcome to apply.
